“Who I Was” (2021) is an interactive web VR piece now on display at Hell’s Museum at Haw Par Villa, Singapore. I was approached to create an artwork about the concept of the afterlife. As the afterlife is a reflection of the choices made in our lives, I explored the idea of a “personalized” afterlife, in which the environment builds itself out according to the responses of the viewer.
The piece was brought to life using a web framework called a-frame, which allows the creation of web-compatible AR, VR and 3D experiences.
